Description
The limited edition “La Sirène” is a refined blend of two aged rums. The first is a 2009 Cuban rum, including three years of maturation in ex-ratafia champenois casks. The second, from Paraguay, was aged for 7 years before a 12-month finish in ex-french whisky barrels. The result is a complex and captivating rum, revealing notes of beeswax, leather, and elderflower, enhanced by a hint of curry.
Tasting note
Nose: A nose combining notes of old wood and beeswax, with indulgent hints of soft caramel and a subtle touch of spice reminiscent of curry that lifts the entire profile.
Palate: An elegant opening where roasted and floral nuances intertwine, followed by notes of cherry and liquorice that bring complexity and length on the palate.
