Compagnie des Indes strikes again with this new blend! West Indies 8 years, a blend without any additives – no added sugar, colorings or aromas and 100% 8 years old. Well rounded, delicate yet powerful, maintaining the signature natural elegance of Compagnie des Indes rums. Aged in American oak barrels, this West Indies blend brings together rums from Barbados for a hint of Pot still rums, Dominican Republic, Panama and British Guyana for the Column still.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: delicate but pretty aromatic, upfront picking up some hints of fermented fruits, followed by scents of rock candy, honey, peach and sweet spices, like an oriental dish
Mouth: entry is keenly spicy and honeyed, leading to some rock candy and burnt molasses. Midpalate offers some vanilla beans mixed with rhubarb and licorice flavors
Finish: it concludes with a beautiful finish, marrying some fruit Eau-de-vie flavors with a delicate woody aroma
