This 11 year old single cask comes from Martinique from the distillery du Simon. First a sugar plant, it slowly came to be rum distillery. This rum has a very atypical nose and in mouth it an explosion of aromas of fermented cane, salted butter caramel with a lactic side

TASTING NOTES

Nose: very atypical. A strong prominent smell of fermented apple and juicy fresh cane. Generous, sweet and soothing aromas of elderflower
Mouth: explosion of aromas of fermented cane, salted butter caramel with a lactic side (pear yoghurt)
Finish: delicate and sweet with passion fruit and Tonka bean
