Distillery: Foursquare


Foursquare Distillery is located in the south-east of the island and was built in 1996 by the Seale family, to produce very qualitative rums without additional flavors. Foursquare’s rums are really special, because it’s the result of pot still and column still rums aged in ex-bourbon barrels.

This rum, distilled in December 1998, was aged in the Tropics until 2004, and then imported into Europe.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: notes of ripe banana and peach but also pastry cream and white chocolate
Taste: notes of praline brioche first, and then hints of candied citrus
Finish: strong and condensed
