This rum is produced in the South American state Guyana, which is known for its Demerara Rum. Manufactured by the Diamond Distillers, the rum is distilled in the so-called Port Mourant still which is associated with the distinctive “Demerara” taste.

The rum is available with 43% alcoholic content for uncomplicated enjoyment, and with 58% as a cask strength. Both are emblematic of  the Compagnie des Indes series of rums – not only for Demerara fans.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: floral, honey, lavender, sugarcane
Taste: honey, sugar cane, citrus, ripe fruit
Finish: warm, comforting in the mouth, long-lasting citrus
