This rum is produced in the South American state Guyana, which is known for its Demerara Rum. Manufactured by the Diamond Destillers, the rum is distilled in the so-called Enmore still that stands for the distinctive “Demerara” taste.

The rum is available with 48% alcoholic content.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: a truly expressive bouquet of flavors thanks to its burnt molasses, fortified wine, medlar and Corinthian raisins aromas, enhanced by an iodized touch, like an Islay mist
Mouth: it is an explosion of flavors, starting with toasted bread, evolving to a pleasant sensation of velvety liquid filling up your whole mouth. Ripened bananas, prune, and Jamaican naseberries are very expressive in this rum
Finish: delicate and silky, comparable to macerated fruits in alcohol topping up an ice-cream cup
